I followed the instructions in Article 321379 to add print directory to my
pc, which runs Windows XP Home. As the article warned might happen, when I
try to open a folder, the Search Companion opens instead.
When I try to use regedit as directed in the article, there is no path
\Directory\shell under the HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT key.
When I try to remove the Print Directory Listing from the File Folder
Advanced box, the Edit key is inactive, whether I don't click, click once, or
click twice.
While I prefer to have the Print Directory available, I really do need to be
able to open folders. How do I get out of this hole?
Copy / Paste the script at tip 5217 » How can I right-click a folder in Windows Explorer to Print Directory Listing?
