Re: Access Denied in copying Word & Excel Files to new directory o

Jabez Gan, I was thinking about the corrective actions you've kindly
suggested and maybe I have some other information that could affect what I
need to do..?

The C: hard drive I use for programs is indeed an XP NTFS Filesystem format,
however the D: partitioned hard drive used for data files is a Fat 32
Filesystem format. (I know this is "true" for one of the computers and
"virtually certain" it is true for both computers.)

My problems have all been with the data files. The corrective actions you
recommend seem to apply only to "XP NTFS Filesystems"?

I don't know if the Fat 32 Filesystem would respond the same as expected
from the corrective recommendations for the "XP NTFS Filesystems"?

Maybe I only confuse myself?

Thanks My Friend.

I don't recall that I made a deliberate decision to have two different
Filesystems... This seemed to occur as a function of the "partition"...
Perhaps I could have changed it, but saw no reason to do so, as I was moving
data files from a Windows 98SE System to the new computers.

Thanks
