Volume size reporting error

I hope I'm in the right area here. I've been looking for a solution to
this but cannot find any other references to this issue. (All the
following sizes are approximate for simplicity sake)
I have a server that has an array configured. It's Raid 5 with 72 gigs
of usable space. I have Windows 2003 server SP1 installed on it with
two partitions. The C: drive is 10 gigs, and the D: drive is 62 gigs.
It was brought to my attention the other day that when you look at the
drives through Explorer, the total drive size for either volume is
reported as 72 gigs. So I looked at it and sure enough, that's what was
showing. So I looked at the array configuration utility and that was
showing that the usable raid size was 72 gigs. And if I go into disk
management, the volumes were shown correctly for c: and d: at 10 and 62
gigs.
Patches and firmware are up to date. File sizes don't appear to be out
of line. When looking at it via a smb connection from another computer
it shows the right size. I just can't seem to find a reason for
Explorer to be reporting the array size vs the actual volume size.
Thanks for any help that may be offered.
Chuck
