Applying security to NTFS files system based files & directories.

Hi All,

At work we have Windows 2000 network with NTFS File System. Now, I dont know
what the IT people have done but when I right-click a folder --> Security tab
--> checkmark some option I can make the folder such that no one can delete
it or access it or move or rename it. To access it one should know to remove
that option by right-clicking on the folder --> security tab --> the option.
You need to remove the rights or assign it... dont remember.

Okay, now the same rules I need to set up on my home computer which has
Windows XP Pro NTFS File System. I am ready to reformat to accomplish this
task.

Thanks
Nilesh
