DFS Hangs When Chaging File Permissions

Tech-Archive recommends: Repair Windows Errors & Optimize Windows Performance

Here is the scenario.

I have a domain dfs root "<domain>\Armor Shared"
I have 4 Links under it: Corporate, Hamilton, Madison, Sharonville
This DFS is in a Windows 2000/2003 Domain and a 2003 Standard Server.

When I browse to a directory, for example: \\<domain>\Armor
Shared\Corporate\IT\

and right click on the "Private" folder and go to properties --> security
settings, modify the security, and click ok. When I click ok, the security
box hangs. There are currently only 2 15kb files in the folder so I know it
shouldn't take that long to change the security. After about 15 minutes it
will complete.

Any Ideas?
