Galen,
Thanks for your assistance.
Unfortunately it didn't work.
I used Adaware 6, Spybot S&D, and SwatIt.
I also have Norton Internet Security which is along with the previous
programs all up to date.
I did as you suggested by running them in Safe mode along with Normal mode
afterwards.
The LSP fix did not do anything, however I never had issues connecting to
any web pages. Just the Control Panel not opening. I have been able to Search
for Admin Tools and Shortcut this to the Desktop, but it is the other tools
in Control Panel I was trying to look at.
Would this suggest a missing or corrupted link file or .exe or what ever the
name is?
