Is there any way I can "FIX" my Win XP sp2 installation. I am having trouble
with my printer manager. When I go into Printers and faxes nothing shows up
and add printer does not work. I went into notepad and tried to print and
found that cfgmgr32.dll was missing. I found it was an old version and when I
deleted it, a newer one took it's place(????). Now I can print from
applications, but the printer manager is still empty. I am wondering what
else is missing or corrupt. Is there a way to have XP analyse the file
system and outline what is needed to fix the problem. OH I tried the system
restore several time with several restore points and it failed each time. I
would appreciate any input.
