Hi Daniel,
No, I dont want to run with a corrupted file system; there is a device
driver in my Windows which loads and does some file write operation before
Autochk.exe is executed at the end of Phase 5 of Windows Startup (See
article: Writing to a file Prior to to Load Phase 7 Starts Chkdsk.exe). This
activity falsely sets the Dirty Bit ON and gets CHKDSK to run at all Windows
Startup. This is a pain and a waiste of time as my file system is allways
found to be free of problems.
So this is the question:
1) How can I find out which Device Driver causes this problem?
2) If I can not resolve 1) above a can write a small script to execute
immediately after the completion of Windows load and turn the Dirty Bit off
at all Windows new load.
Any suggestions?
