I remember this being an problem with older CD-ROM drives that didn't
support a change notification. Is there anyway you can swap the drive?
Also, is it just this set of CDs, or all the CDs? Just out of curiosity,
does each CD have a different serial number? Do a 'dir' from the command
prompt.
