hey marc,
I notice that you have a problem mirroring the 2 drives.. well here is the
question.. is your motherboard SATA raid or non raid.. the way you can tell
is if when you start up your computer, it will come up as a scsi or raid
utility you can access.. If one doesn't come up youwill need a SATA Raid card
that you will be booting from instead of the onboard, thus this is where the
screen comes up that you can create both drives as a mirror. Usually e-bay
has a few good deals on them i picked one up for about $20.00 on e-bay.. I
had the same problem especially with Intel or Foxcon motherboards with the
SATA. As soon as i got the card i was able to Mirror my 2 drives. The brand
i got was silicon immage.. its an awesome card and automatically recognized
by windows 2003 server. just remember when you install the card and after
windows is loaded, install the driver cd.. it will help you mannage
everything from windows. Hope this works out. If you want you can contact me
