Our company hosts shared folders for about 40 users in a
W2K3 Std server with Exchange 2003 SP1 installed. The
server was purchased only a few months ago with dual-CPU
and 4GB RAM.

Recently some users encountered problems with deleting
files from the shared folders. After issuing delete in
Windows Explorer, the file deletion was delayed by 1
minute or so. Also this issue makes Access produces error
message when trying to compact database as mdb file
failed to delete promptly.

Any ideas what happened to the server?
