I have had to recreate my 2003 domain which I am
migrating to form my current NT4 domain wonce I have
sorted out all current issues for.
The problem is I had a DFS root set up under the previous
domain which I now realise I should have removed prior to
the change (as I am running in mixed mode I demoted all
my domain controllers and then rpomoted them again to
create the new domain). Now I can't do anything with the
DFS root I had if i try to "Show Root" in the DFS Snap in
I get the error "The specified DFS root does not exist".
If I try to recreate it I use the same file share as
previously I am told it already exists and I should
choose another directory and if I try to create a new
Directory to use I get "The requets is not supported"
after the last step.
Is it possible to fixed this I have seemingly triued
everythying I know??
