Re: Remote Desktop Connection

Tech-Archive recommends: Fix windows errors by optimizing your registry

Is it the fact that it's a DC that only Administrator can connect
remotely? Is there a way to get around this?

I'm trying to get up to speed on Windows Server 2003 and Active
Directory. I've set up a server and I have a laptop running WinXP Pro.
I'm trying to establish a remote desktop connection from the laptop to
the server. I have set Group Policy to allow remote connections and put
the user in Remote Desktop Users group and Print Operators to give them
local login rights. The probem is I can't connect. If I put the user
account in Administrators group it connects right up. What am I missing?
