Could that be a firewall issue? If you do safe mode or clean booting on both computers (host and client) and then try it. does that work?

Yes, I have rebooted the computer. Telnet to the server results in
the screen going blank and a flashing cursor...no error message.
I am able to pull up the Terminal Server web access page (IPaddress/
tsweb), but clicking on the Connect button results in an error: The
client could not establish a connection to the remote computer...
Remote Desktop is checked as an exception in Windows Firewall.

I have spent numerous hours troubleshooting this. I cannot figure out
what is different on my 2 machines that work just fine with this same
server!
