Re: RDP One-Way Only COME ON SOMEONE KIND!!

It's frustrating eh?

I registered the dll like you said, no change. Also i started Xp in safe
mode with networking, still no change.

Tell me Al, if I connect with my modem : if the "whatismyip" is
278.136.174.90 and the ipconfig of the target PC here n the LAN is
192.168.0.101, how exactly do i input the computer name in the RDP connection
window. Thought I'd try with the modem telephone line.

Thanks for all your attention so far! Maybe i should invite you to a Remote
Assistance session if you really want to waste your time.....

So you did Al, most annoying for you!
I'm back to v5.1 now, but no change.

Well, I am not sure what to do now other than these two suggestions that
were made to some others in your same situation. Before trying this are you
sure your not running any software on the client that is blocking Remote
Desktop. I found a thread that had a similar situation and completely
removing NAV 2007 solved the problem.

So with that said the fixes of last resort are....

* You can reregister Remote Desktop by running the following command from a
command prompt. Make sure you have administrator privileges. Reboot the PC
after doing this...

regsvr32 remotepg.dll

* A fix of last resort is a "Repair Reinstall" of the OS. Backup any
critical data just in case. Note the warnings on the page...

Good luck and sorry I can't be of more help...
