We have seen many issues like one running QuickBooks or Access over VPN. However, running QuickBooks via RDP over VPN should be OK.

I RDP using the IP since the host name didn't work. I had previously created
the RDP shortcut on a network, trying to simplify it fot the end user at the
remote end. I think that hosed it up and I walked him through icreating it on
his desktop and the RDP worked.
The issue that I'm having know is with QuickBooks, which doesn't seem to run
over a VPN type connection. It is painfuly slow and I think its a design
issue. Any help there would be a wonderful thing.
Thanks
