Does anyone know how to uninstall RD. I figured with the problems I am
having with it, that if I uninstall it and then reinstall it, my
problems may clear up.

On an XP Pro box you can't uninstall the Remote Desktop host software. You
can try reregistering the software or doing a "repair install" to try and
clean up issues with the OS.
* Re-registering Remote Desktop using the command line that follows.
Reboot the PC after doing this...
regsvr32 remotepg.dll
* Otherwise try a repair install of Windows XP... Note the warnings on
the page and backup important data just to be safe...

I forgot to ask what kind of problems are you having that you think you need
to reinstall Remote Desktop on the host computer?
Here's my original request for help.
" I recently had to rebuild my PC and I am now having a problem
connecting with my RD.
I am running WIN XP, all updates. RD was running on the system before
it crashed.
What is happening now is that I get to the main screen and enter my
info, when I hit enter I get the following error.
It could not log me on and to make sure my typing is correct. I know
my log in name, and my password, so I am at a lost as to where to go
from here.
Did I make an entry somewhere that has my user name and password and
could have possibly entered it in correctly. When I boot up my system,
I have no problem logging in.
This happens in the LAN and WAN configuration.
Any help would be greatly appreciated as I do use this quit often."
I did what you suggest, running the "regsvr32 remotepg.dll", but it
did not help. I do not have a domain name for my home system. I did
make sure that all the workgroups are the same and they are.
Thanks for the help
