Intermittent XP SP2 Pro (new) RDC/VPN login screen
Tech Tip: Click here to run a free scan for Windows Errors and optimize PC performance
I have W2K using VPN/Dial-Up to our work LAN. RDC is used to access W2K
server and XP SP2 Pro.
After the XP have been updated with the new RDC, connecting to XP becomes
INTERMITTENT (I can get the login screen on a random basis, 1 out 20 times).
I have uninstalled the RDC update with the same result. (PC busy, no login
screen). Whenever I get a login screen, RDC works fine after I login.
Connection with the W2K server is working fine everytime.
How do I restore completely the XP RDC to before the update ?
Many thanks
.
