Luis
thanks for the reply, after some digging/research I think we can use Remote Desktop as opposed to Terminal Services [we don't have a server involved]

Dear Roberto, to connect two computers, one far away from another, AND
without a server, BUT with internet connection of any kind, use the Internet
as your server. Well, your Internet Service Provider ISP; long ago, we did
something like that with Quick Books, when we had the telephone "super fast"
connections back in the day, lol, we just make sure the ip adresses where
lined up. But mainly, on this one, the ISP, is going to be the main factor
because your two computers and programs, seem, according to what you wrote to
be ok. Good Luck.

Have a situation which I am unsure how to setup, and am wondering if
someone here can provide an answer.

Client wants to allow remote access to MYOB [accounting program] from
one machine in another
part of the country to his local machine, this user should be able to open
and work on the company's data file.
Both machines are Pentium 4s running XP Pro in their own Peer to Peer
networks, [ no server] and have an ADSL connection to their ISPs.
I have no experience with Remote Access so would appreciate any
assistance anyone can offer.
