Hi,

Since the IE proxy settings in GP is configured for user. Therefore,
the
best practise is when you got home, please use local user account to
login.
Then, the proxy settings will not take effect.

Thanks.

Hi

We are setting up mobile devices (notebooks) for home use and
workplace.
The
notebooks are member of a domain. Group policies set the proxy
settings
for
the MS Internet Explorer. If the notebooks are connected to the
enterprise
LAN, users can connect the Internet by MS Internet Explorer over the
proxy
server.

If the users are working at home, they have an internet connection
over
their ISP like GMX or Aol. The notebooks are not connected through a
VPN
to
the enterprise network.

The problem is now, that the proxy policy block the internet
connection
for
MS Internet Explorer, because we have no connection to the enterprise
network
and to the proxy server.

What is the best practice to solve such configuration problems.

Thank you for your support
Christoph
