I am installing a computer at a client office. This computer was
able to connect remotely from my home so Remote Desktop Connection
worked fine.
I think the problem is the gateway at the client's office.
Some facts:
1. I cannot ping my remote location.
2. The client's server does not have IPSEC. (mind you I know
nothing about gateways so it may be set up on another computer in
the offce).
Simple question...
Does the client computer have a public IP address at the office it is now
setup at?
If the client computer goes through a router/NAT device - who controls that?
Does the remote computer you are trying to contact have a public IP address?
