Hello. I am a casual RDC user, connecting to my home PC from other
locations. I keep my Remote Desktop Profile on my USB Flash Drive, and
up until now I've been loading this profile (which does NOT have the
password saved--I'm smart enough not to put the password into the
profile for security reasons) to connect to my PC. However, today I
have forgotten my drive at home, and when I try to connect by manually
typing in all the information, I am disconnected the instant I type in
my password. No error message is given--I type in my password, the
computer acts like it is unlocking for use, and the next thing I know
I'm staring at the Remote Desktop Connection Screen again. I have
checked to make sure my password is correct--typing in an incorrect
password gives me the usual "Incorrect Password" message box. My
firewall is configured to let RDP connections through, and this is the
first time I've experienced this problem
