Ok some basic info.
Have dsl firewall which has IP pass through, enabled to use public IP address)
windows firewall remote enabled in all possible ways (I hope)
XP Pro SP 2.
Standard remote access via ip address, gets page can not be found.
Have tried to acccess vis the web (tsweb) because standard remote method
does not work.
At home I can login fine (either method) but outside my own network, I cant

On MS site, they explained tsweb so I tried that as well. gotomypc works
fine but
I dont want to pay for something I should be able to do as it is built in.
Have IIS running, (suggested by MS for tsweb) but may not be configured
corrrectly.
Have SP2, enabled in DEP both with port 3389 and one of my own How can I
port forward
my bellsouth dsl modem/router? The DSL router is a westell 327, Bellsouth

Lack of information.
We don't even know what OS (in particular) you have, what service pack level
you are at, what you have tried, what your network setup looks like, where
you are trying to remote to/from (we need to know the particular OS/patch
level at both ends..) etc.
If using Windows XP Professional (and that is the machine you want to
remotely control without it being used by anyone else at the time..)

If using Windows XP Home Edition (and that is the machine you want to
remotely control without anyone else being around at the time..)

(Yes - Windows XP Home Edition does not include remote desktop - only remote
assistance.)
