Remote Desktop to Computers within Network?

Hi,
I just made a big mistake and need to know if there is any workaround!
:) I remote desktopped in to my "server" at home, which was set up in
my router with the DMZ and port opening. I changed the DMZ and port
opening to the IP of another computer in my LAN hoping to remote
desktop in to it to get a file that I needed. When I went to remote
desktop in again, I discovered the I could not access the intended
computer, as it likely doesn't have remote desktop turned on. Is
there any way that I can get access to the original computer through
remote desktop? I tried putting in the external IP followed by a \ and
then the internal IP, but it didn't work... Any ideas?
thanks,
Branden Durst
