Re: Can you copy&restore a compressed folder back to your local pc?

Hi!

When I run my RDC session over VPN and try copying over a folder from
the Host to my Local PC it takes a very long time... 3+hours for 400mb.

If you need to work with files on remote computer, why you are using RDC? If
you are connected to your LAN via VPN, you just can copy files on your LAN
shares without RDC. BTW, it could be the speed of your VPN connection, that
takes so much time to copy large files.
