Changing Port for Remote Desktop

Before you jump to conclusions on this, please
read a line or two:

1. I know how to edit the registry to change
the port used for Remote Desktop from the
standard value of 3389 to another value. And
I know how to use a Remote Desktop client
to access a machine on which another port is
being used for this function.

2. For a complicated set of reasons, I can
only use 1025 for remote access.

3. But you can't change from 3389 to 1025
as 1025 is reserved for another Windows XP
function.

Can anybody tell me which function uses 1025
and can that one be changed to some other
port so that I can use 1025 for Remote
Desktop?

Thanks in advance,

Tom T.
