remote desktop web connection activex control

Tech Tip: Click here to run a free scan for Windows Errors and optimize PC performance

I am trying to set up a web based method for students to login to a
terminal server in College from home. (They can already do this using
the Remote Desktop client app in XP or using a downloaded client on W98
etc.)

My laptop at home can use the web connection successfully and this
seems to be because I have RDP Client Control (redist) in the
downloaded programs folder. However I have no idea how I got it- I am
running XP Home on this machine- and I have not found anywhere to
download the file from that will install the ActiveX control from. So I
guess the questions are:

If this RDP download is the ACtiveX control, where did I get it;

Where can others get the same comnponent?

Thanks!
