Loggin in RDP while user is logged on locally

Is there a way that I can log in to a computer via RDP while a different
local user is using the pc with no interruptions?

example....my wife is doing work on my desktop pc and I want to use my
laptop to log into the desktop rdp with my username. Now both of us are
logged into the desktop working normally.
