Aventail VPN Client, Network Drives, explorer.exe hangs

Any make or model could be affected
Running either Windows XP SP1 or XP SP2
Has either McAfee Virus Scan 7.1 or 8.0i
Some have McAfee Entercept, some not
User's are experiencing the following problems:
Not able to access any of the network drives consistently.
System can lockup when running Lotus Notes
Systen can lockup when running MS Office
Opening My Computer system takes very long time for drives to appear.
When able to access network drives, users have to wait a long time before
they are able to see the drives show.
Lotus Notes: (Issues relate to Network drives access )
Sending email that have attachments Opening email with attachments
Users have no issues here on the LAN
Lotus Notes taking very long to open, even with a broadband connection(one
user said that it would take 40 minutes to just open Notes).
Please keep in mind that the system that took 40 minutes to open Notes was a
1.4 GHz, with 512 MB RAM.
