VPN Connection Trouble in Finding Folders

Hello,
I have been trying to setup VPN access to a machine behind a router/firewall
to share a specific MS Access Database (configuration below). I do not want
to allow broader access to the machine. The problem I am having is one MS XP
machine logs in fine (after turning off MS firewall) and can discover the
machine and the shared directory no problem. When a different XP machine
(with firewall off) trys to connect it can connect to the machine via the VPN
(I see it connected on the XP machine acting as the VPN server) but it can
not discover the directory. Also using explorer and giving it a path the to
the directory via \\cmconsult\shareddocs does nto work either.

Any ideas from anyone would be greatly appreciated
Mike

The configuration is as follows:

- Router (LinkSys WRTG54) is hooked via cable modem to internet. Router is
configured with DHCP from the cable modem. Router has PPTP pass through
enabled. And is forwarding ports 1723 & 47 (thanks again texas snowman!).
- Have setup a dynamic host name with DYNDNS.ORG called
cmconsult.dynalias.com. Router is configured to automatically update the
SYNDNS.ORG of the IP address for the internet side.
- XP machine (with all updates) connected using a wired connection to the
54G has the VPN server setup according to instructions. I have turned off
allowing access to the local network since the files I want to allow access
are on the same machine as the VPN server. A limited user account has been
setup to limit access. The machine is using a fixed IP address to enable
port forwarding from the router. The host name has been confiugred as
cmconsult and the primary suffix has been setup as dynalias.com (the check
box on changing primary DNS suffix on changing of domains is off). It is a
member of the Workgroup domain
