    Hello Fellow Travelers,

I have a little delima that I shure could use some
help with. It's this funny message I get when FTPing
into my WinXP pro box from a Win 2003 Server. The
message I receive is, "An error occurred opening that
folder on the FTP Server. Make sure you have permission
    to access that folder".

OK ... the path of connection is: WinXP pro / Remote
Desktop to Win 2003 Server / IE FTP back to WinXP with
ports 20 and 21 open on the XP firewall.

The Observation ... WinXP reports FTP connection from
the Server. It shows up in: Start / right click My
Computer / Manage / Computer Manager / Default FTP
sight / Current Session / FTP User Session. This "FTP
User Session" shows that the server is connected to the
    XP box.

But ... From the server side I get the message
mentioned earlier, "An error occurred opening that folder
on the FTP Server. Make sure you have permission to
    access that folder."

Permissions? ... Yes, I have set and reset all
permissions I can think of. Must be something else? I
have also tried it with a login and anonymous: still the
    same message.
    Help ... Help ... Help ...

    Thanks,
    John
