Missing Password

    I,m using xcopy to copy .rdp files from one folder to another, sometimes to a different computer.
    The source .rdp file has the password entered and save password is checked.
    When I edit the copied .rdp file the password is missing.
    Is there a way to copy .rdp files and retain the saved password?
