Yes, I had enabled the remote desktop on the host.

It is listening to port 3389, although I don't know if it is correct that ip adress is 0.0.0.0 instead of 192.168.2.54.
I tried connecting the laptop directly to the Pro machine with a crossover cable and still got the same error message when trying to connect, so I don't think the problem is the router.
