hi sooner,
thanks but i am still looking for a solution for my problem i have yet to solve since few months back.
to my knowledge i know that from both computers that are win xp, they can see each other's share files just by typing in the \\ipaddr in the internet explorer browser. tried and worked. so i can see the shares easily.
but the catch is if only either 1 of the computers are with firewall or none of the computers with firewall.
if both computers were to have firewall, the shares will not show. ??
think i have made my question simplified. ;p
