On the 'Properties' page on my network connections, ie, Local Area
Connection, under the 'Advanced' screen, i get this message :-

"Windows cannot display the properties of this connection. The Windows
Management Instrument (WMI) information might be corrupted. To correct this,
use System Restore to restore Windows to an earlier time (called a restore
point). System Restore is located in the System Tools folder in Accessories."

Does anyone know of a way to fix this problem without using System Restore
because this problem occured ages ago and i don't have a restore point from
then. Also I have upgraded my pc many times since then and this has created
many new restore points.

This problem doesn't acctually appear to cause any problems from what i can
tell. i just can't use Windows Firewall or Internet Connection Sharing.
Though it may have other effects that i am unaware of.

Please help

Thankyou
