Sorry if my steps were confusing. 'type' should never actually be typed - I
just mean to say execute the command in quotes.
C:\>net stop winmgmt
The Windows Management Instrumentation service is stopping.
The Windows Management Instrumentation service was stopped successfully.
C:\>cd %windir%\system32\wbem
C:\WINDOWS\system32\wbem>ren Repository Repository.old
Let me know if this still does not work.
