WMI Corruption Causes

    No one answered my last post in reference to WMI
    corruption, and it just happened again. Using System
    Restore to fix this is getting highly unproductive, as it
    sets my system back farther than it should be. Having to
    set Restore Points daily would be space-consuming, as
    well.

    What actually *causes* the WMI to go corrupt like this?
