It's not the camera either cos no problem on frends pc... I shall have to
put avi on CDrom on another pc and see if i can then drag from disk onto
mine... And then buy a new pc!

I have a couple of thoughts but no solutions.
Two thoughts...could you try a different memory
card? Could you try a different USB port?
One more thought...if you have several USB
accessories attached...disconnect all but the
card reader and try to download the file.
