Thanks for the post, Cari. I've tried everything on the Adobe website I
think a dozen times. I even went in with Windows Explorer and deleted the
Flash folder in the Programs folder after the uninstall, reinstalled with
their zip file download, and it still only works in Firefox, yet it used to
work with IE 7. I don't know if a windows update caused some sort of a
conflict or what. For now, I'll just use Firefox as my browser I guess.
Thanks again for the reply.
Sincerely,
Gary

I think the answer is to wait until Adobe fix it, I have the same problem
with just one of my PCs (notebook with Vista Ultimate)... all the others
work just fine. I even uninstalled the Flash Player and tried to install
the zip and had the same problem. I think I've tried their online install
about 7 times now.

I have Windows XP SP2 with IE Explorer 7.0.5730.13 as well as Firefox
2.0.0.9 installed. Flash worked fine in both browsers up until about a
week
ago. Now it only works in Firefox. I have used the uninstaller downloaded
from the Macromedia website, downloaded the zip file to my desktop and
tried
running it, but was told it was not the most current version and the
install
was prematurely ended by the installer. I've tried downloading it from
the
Macromedia website, and still it works only with Firefox. Is there a way
I
can get it working with IE again??
Thanks!
