First thing to do is reinstall Nero.

Used to be able to watch dvd movies on my computer; however, now my DVD
decoder is no longer being recognized -- n o auto play when I right click on
the drive icon -- no DVD play on windows media player. No clue to what I
might have done to cause this. Also have Nero Show Time, and it won't play a
DVD movie either.

I run XP professional version 2002 service paack 2
on an AMD Athlon(tm) 64 professor 2800+ 1.81 GHz, 768 MB of RAM
My DVD/CD-ROM drive is a SONY DVD RW DRU-720A
Windows Media Player Version: 11.0.5721.5145
Nero Burning Rom 6,6,1,4
Nero Show Time 2,0,1,9
My DVD decoder is at C:\Program Files\Common Files\Ahead\DSFilter (NeDVD.ax)

I have uninstalled the DVD player numerous times with no change in situation.

What can I do to get the system to use my Nero DVD decoder?
