i am having a problem with my computer if someone could help me out.
everytime i go to burn a copy of a cd it says there is no blank disk in
the
drive when there is.
Your Burner maybe faulty?
It could be a firmware ssue? Have you updated drives firmware?
You fail to mention the software you are using?
Assuming you are trying a direct copy of a CD from one drive
to a blank disk on another drive/burner?
Or have you ripped the tracks to a HD folder?
My telepathic skills abandoned me a long time ago,
supply exact details.....
There most definately will have been a specific error message.
And when i am copying a movie the program wont complete it. i am using dvd
shrink or dvd decrypter and intervideo dvdcopy 2
The macrovision (encryption) strippper function and shrink facility
are intensive processes, you require an extremely efficient PC to
rip form a DVD *direct* to a Blank DVD.
It's best to rip a 100% copy to a HD folder, (video_TS)
Then open DVDshrink or your Burning software of choice
and import the now decrypted files which will be all the
required .VOB, .IFO, .BUP files that are stripped of the
macrovision protection.
In your burning software, set "book type" as "DVD-ROM"
Then direct burning software to fit to desired disk size.
Then burn.
