Re: 3d hardware accelerator card

Tech-Archive recommends: Fix windows errors by optimizing your registry

Your video card - from who: ATI, nVidia, or built into the motherboard, or a
different manufacturer.

You download the latest drivers from the appropriate video card
manufacturer. If it's built into the motherboard then you get the drivers
from the motherboard manufacturer. Also, if it's built in then it may not
fully 3D capable.

Hi, I just installed Call of Duty 2 and I'm getting a Directx error -
Direct
x encountered an unrecoverable error. check the directx faq for possible
solutions. I went through the faq. Directx has been installed. I think
that I may not have the correct video driver. It's requesting the 3d
hardware accelerator card. Is this something that I need to purchase or
can
download it. I believe what I have currently is the intel graphics meida
accelerator v6.14. Thanks for any help.
Joyce
