First thing to do is go to the ATI website and download and install the
latest version of their driver package.

and the red x is present, but the pictures have vanished and this is the
2nd
part of the question,im wondering if it has anything to do with these
errors
iv been getting during certain downloads like, zero display service error
and
unable to load graphic
conversion.i know my system can handle the latest drivers iv got an ati
radeon 9800
installed ontop of a powerful gaming computer.iv never gotten display
errors
before, but ati gave me the 2nd edition of the catalyst control center
which
may be a beta cause i havnt seen it on the ati website.but anyway before i
installed it I uninstalledwhat i thought was a driver, but now that i think
about it ,it could have been anything in the ati folder.could someone
please
help me??????
