I have a lan in our house and using a Sony DV Cam attached via a firewire
port I'm streaming a Windows Media encoded stream to port 8080 on one machine
192.168.0.22:080 on the network (that's the default for Windows Media
encoder, I guess). The encoder is running and I can see both input and output
windows displaying whatever the DV camera is pointed at - so far so good
How can I view that stream on another computer (i.e. 192.168.0.31) on the
same network? Do I need a special application or a server? Is there a way to
setup Windows Media Player(10) to watch that stream directly ? Is there
atrick to the setup?
Thx. M.
