Thanks for your suggestion. I don't think that it will work in my case as
prior to SP2 being installed, it worked fine using the Sony cable, and also
the camcorder is aware that it is plugged in, as it shows "DV IN" when I plug
in the cable. I also have a Belkin cable and have compared the 2 cables. I
see what you mean about the pins, the ones on the Sony cable are much closer
to the edge of the housing than the Belkin. Any more suggestions? Thanks
