i do have the correct drivers, and this i know because i
updated them recently... which now come to think of it,
could be the cause. i dont switch my pc off, and i
restarted the the day before yesterday, and that probably
when the distortion began, but i didnt notice them at the
time.

i'll try setting up the drivers again, this time using
only the windows default drivers for my card... that
seemed to work fine before the update that i made.
