Was the previous OS Vista?
What utility did you use to delete the old partitions and create
the new ones?

Hi,I decided to reinstall Windows XP Pro on my Dell 8300
system and to insure that I have a "clean slate", I deleted the
partitions on the 80GB and 120GB Disk Drives (which were
partitioned into a "C", "D", "E" and "F" Drive)
.
The install went fine and I have a Fresh copy of WindowsXp Pro
but when I open My Computer, I am advised that the ONLY
Drive that I have is a 35GB "C" Drive.
It appears that the "balance" of the "C" Drive (that I partitioned
as a "D") Drive AND the 120GB "E" and "E" Partitions (that
were my 120GM Drive) "disappeared.
My questions are, how do I "find" the "lost Drives" and, how
do I format them?
Thank you,
Bob
