Re: Setup Drivers During OS Install From USB Flash Drive?

Tech-Archive recommends: Repair Windows Errors & Optimize Windows Performance

Assuming you refer to installing drivers using F6 option, then no.
You can create a slipstreamed installation cd containing the drivers.
You are concerned about time / corruption why? the last time I installed
using floppy was about 3 years ago
3 minutes for 3 years hardly a problem & a floppy can allways be redone

Is there any way with Windows XP to provide additional device drivers to
the
Windows setup program using a USB flash drive instead of USB floppy?

Floppies take too long to format and prepare and they often have
corruption
issues that just make them inefficient to work with.

If flash drives are allow, then how do you prepare them to work with the
Windows setup?
