You can't upgrade from win 2k to XP Home, only XP Pro, return it and get

I wanted to upgrade from Windows 2000 Pro to XP Home for my home computer,
so
I purchased a copy from Best Buy, but when I tried to install it, it would
not install because it said that it would not install because I had
Windows
2000 Pro.
What do I need to do to upgrade? Please don't try to push Vista, because
my
computer will not take it and I am not that computer savvy.
Thank you for your help.
