Usually yes.
Your motherboard manual will give you exact procedures, which can vary by
motherboard.
Or card manual if raid controlers are on a card
Raid 1 comprises 2 drives, the third is a hot swap, added after the raid has
been built.

I currently have XP x64 installed without a raid setup, but have decidedthat
I wanted to add one. My question is, can I still keep the x64 OS I havethe
installed now and just add the raid, or do I need to do a complete
installation again?? I've tried switch the bios to raid and then using
setup utility .. with the original drive where XP is installed on as aJBOD
.. and then setting the other 2 drives up as part of my RAID 1. When I
reboot though, it wont boot to XP ... Can someone help me out please!!
Thanks!
